Frequently asked questions
The most common questions about uploading an estimate and receiving a better offer.
What estimate do I need to upload?+
Upload the written, emailed or on-screen estimate provided after your appointment or vehicle inspection. It should show the company, vehicle and final offer wherever possible.
Is the online valuation enough?+
We prefer the appointment or inspected offer because online valuations can change after the vehicle is seen.
Do you guarantee that you will beat every quote?+
No. We aim to beat genuine offers where commercially possible, but some vehicles or offers may already be above what we can pay.
How quickly will I receive a response?+
Most complete enquiries are reviewed the same working day. Complex vehicles or unclear documents may take longer.
Am I committed to selling?+
No. Uploading an estimate and receiving an offer does not commit you to selling your vehicle.
What happens to the documents I upload?+
They are stored privately and used to assess the enquiry. They are not displayed publicly.
Can I upload vehicle photos as well?+
Yes. Extra photos are optional but can help us understand the condition and make a more accurate decision.
Are you connected to the companies shown on the website?+
No. Beat My Car Quote is independent and is not affiliated with the other car-buying brands mentioned.
